Hash Droid is a free utility to calculate a hash from a given text or from a file stored on the device. In this application, the available hash functions are : Adler-32, CRC-32, Haval-128, MD2, MD4, MD5, RIPEMD-128, RIPEMD-160, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512, Tiger and Whirlpool. The calculated hash can be copied to the clipboard to be reused elsewhere. The first tab enables to calculate the hash of a given string. The second tab helps you to compute the hash of a file located on the internal or external memory of your device. The size of the file and the last date modified are also displayed. The last feature helps you to compare the calculated hash with another given hash but more generally, you can compare any hashes by just pasting them. A hash (also called checksum or digest) is a digital fingerprint, uniquely identifying a string or a file. Hash functions are often used in cryptography to generate strong passwords. They are also employed to check the integrity of files. Hash Droid is often used to check an Android ROM before flashing it.

Hauk lets you share your location in real-time with friends and family for a specified period of time. Meeting up with someone? Send them a Hauk link, and they can follow your location live on a map until you arrive to meet them. This app requires that you have installed the Hauk backend on a server. Haven is a Free and Open-Source app that leverages the "Work Profile" feature of Android to provide an isolated space that you can install or clone apps into. Both 3.5mm audio jack devices and USB headphones/headsets are supported. The app aims to be a tiny as possible. No ads, no analytics - just its core functionality. After installation, you have to start the application at least once. Then it will be running as a background service that shows the headset status icon whenever the headphones are plugged in. I wrote the headphone indicator app because I was immensely unsatisfied with apps like (google forced me to remove the name) which are over 2 MiB in size, but 99% of their code is only related to advertisement. Simple way to estimate the heart rate. Please do not use it for medical purposes ! This utility works by covering the flash as well as the device's camera with a finger, and waiting for 10 seconds. It works best when the person stays still, and the environment is dark. The phone analyzes the amount of red captured by the camera, and attempts to calculate the heart rate based on the subtle changes it detects. During the measurement, the application shows the current calculation results, and shows the captured data on a line chart. Once completed, the following further details are shown: Standardized values, along with their timestamp (the values are scaled between 0 and 1, and a rolling average is applied for smoothing) Timings where a new heart beat is detected. These data can be shared with other application in order to be exported.
